Gladiator
Dir. Ridley Scott (2000, IMDb #37)
What’s a Black guy (Djimon Hounsou, as Juba) doing in Ancient Rome? Oh, right. Boo slavery.
True story: Oliver Reed (Proximo) died during filming, forcing a complete rewrite of the ending. The final scene, and final line of the movie, went instead to Djimon, proving the theory that for beige guys to get more work, old white men need to die.
